    Government in Greece

Under in.gr , a string longer hanging telecommunications thousands of public sector systems, after the collapse of the company Altec which is responsible for their support through the "Network Coupling ". This work covers many aspects of G2G, but it is mainly a network of access and trunk for the public sector, in order to meet all the needs for communication between them, in which the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) communication between government departments.

While this problem is expected to be addressed, we have to observe that in our country the obstacles to be overcome to create trustworthy eGovernment are many!

We refer to the EU's e-government website , which (EU) finances several eGovernment projects. First of all, it is reported that eGovernment is the use of information and communication technologies to make public administration more efficient and to increase productivity by abolishing bureaucracy as citizens no longer need to wait in queues.

Further, an example is mentioned, such as e-invoicing in Denmark, which saves € 50 million a year and gives examples of projects. However, it should not be forgotten that the promotion of eGovernment must be accompanied by measures to eradicate digital inequality.
